The Sudanese cuisine is still not very familiar to the Middle European palate.
Fortunately, with Nil Imbiss, the first Sudanese Imbiss in Berlin, that has
changed / this situation has been remedied. The light and primarily vegetarian
cuisine consists of fresh and natural ingredients. For drinks fresh fruit
juices are also on offer.

With its homemade peanut sauces, the Sudanese restaurant provides
proof that Falafels (Sudanese, Tamiya) can taste different. Fair prices make the
peanut-vegetable soup and the lentil soup (each 2 E), which are offered every day,
indispensable in the wintertime. Frequent customers are greeted with a handshake by
the chef, and the time waiting for your order passes quickly with small talk about
everything under the sun; a very pleasant environment.

Since talk makes hungry you are at the right place in “Nil” to satisfy your hunger.
Our out door area at the Gruenberger Strasse 52 is with 2 long benches not the biggest
one but easily over seeable. And where else can you get a fine thuna steak for as
little as E 4.50 or Tamiya and Falafel? This all comes with a fresh cheese (Quark)
and fenugreek serving.
